Konami and Sony announced a remake of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater at the Playstation Showcase 2023. The original MGS3: Snake Eater was released on November 17th, 2004 for the PlayStation 2 system, then was later released for the Nintendo 3DS. Snake Eater is one of the most revered releases in the Metal Gear Solid series, which focuses on a special operative named Solid Snake.
The Snake Eater PS5 remake features new high-definition visuals, new quality of life enhancements, gameplay changes, and more insight into the story of the original release. The game has a release window of "this fall," meaning it will come out in the next few months. The game is coming to both PS5 and PS4 consoles on release.
